Crayford Manor House Historical Society (formerly Crayford Manor House Historical & Archaeological Society) was founded in 1961 with the aim of
encouraging archaeological study and research. As it is now not possible to undertake archaeology work, in 2012, it was decided to change the name of the Society
and the words '& Archaeological' were deleted from the title. During the year there are excursions arranged by coach to places of historical interest and when
possible London visits to the British Museum and similar places for an exhibition or tour.
